Shawna and Rebecca met in November 1999 in another mothers group.  In October 2003 we started a sister chapter.  After an amazingly stressful year we ultimately realized the national organization was not going to follow it's own rules and we decided we'd had enough.  However, we had a great group of members and an active schedule so we decided to create our own organization. 

 

In October 2004, we launched "Mothers Helping Mothers."  After receiving some negative input about the name, several months later we became "MOM'S TIME OUT."  And here we are - having just celebrated 5th anniversary!!!
